Reverse Osmosis
Lack of minerals in your water can lead to muscle cramps, fatigue and heart problems

The best option for re-mineralising water is with Our High Vibe Water Drops & Structured Products.

Reverse Osmosis (RO), also known as “Dead Water” is a water purification process that removes impurities and contaminants by forcing water through a semipermeable membrane or using UV Light. While RO is effective in eliminating many substances from water, including minerals and some contaminants like industrial chemicals, heavy metals, pesticides and solvents from the water, there are potential drawbacks to drinking RO water.

There’s no real way for reverse osmosis to filter out harmful ingredients and leave good ones in. Unfortunately, removing all the minerals from your water supply can impact your health by leading to mineral deficiencies. Unfortunately, not many people regularly change their filters and membrane when they should, and this will eliminate the main reasons for Reverse Osmosis in the first place.

We would like to note that not all your mineral consumption is through water, it is through the food you eat and the soil.

BUT

This is a good starting point, as you can now re-mineralise and structure the water to ensure it is absorbed on a cellular level.

Now that your water is stripped of all its nutrients and is chemical free, you should re-mineralise and structure it to be absorbed on a cellular level.

How does RO Water effect our bodies?

Mineral Removal

The primary reason behind the use of the term “dead water” in the context of RO is the removal of minerals during the purification process. Reverse osmosis is effective at removing various impurities, including minerals like calcium, magnesium, and potassium. Some individuals express concern that the absence of minerals makes the water less “alive” less beneficial to health. Long-term consumption of demineralized water may lead to mineral deficiencies. Some studies suggest a possible association between low-mineral water and health issues like osteoporosis and cardiovascular

RO water tends to be slightly acidic due to the removal of alkaline minerals. Some proponents of alkaline water believe that maintaining a slightly alkaline pH is beneficial for health, and they may refer to water with lower pH values as “dead” or less beneficial.

Studies have shown the long-term effects on consuming demineralised water can lead to cardiovascular, neurological issues as well as risks relating to kidneys, the gastro-intestinal tract and so much more.

A lack of minerals in the water can negatively affect the minerals your body gets from your diet and even from supplements. A recent study from the World Health Organization stated, “reduced mineral intake from water was not compensated by their diets… low mineral water was responsible for an increased elimination of minerals from the body”. E.g. Lack of minerals, like Calcium in the water, may cause your body to leach away any others that it consumes which means your body may not get all the efficient minerals that it needs.
